We’re drowning in diagnosis culture. Not the professional, evidence-based kind, but the pop-psych, TikTok, meme-based version where everyday human behaviour is rebranded as abuse or toxic behaviour.
Need space after work? You’re stonewalling.
Proud of your achievements? You’re fishing for narcissistic supply.
Disagree with someone? You’re invalidating their truth.
And because these labels feel so certain and so urgent, relationships are blowing up everywhere, often for no good reason.

The Machine Behind the Madness
This isn’t just people being overdramatic. It’s the healing industrial complex at work.
Here’s how it runs:

Post a vague “Signs They’re a Narcissist” checklist that could describe half the human population.

Get millions of views from people scanning it and “recognising” their mum, partner, or friend.
-
Offer the “must-have” healing programme to fix the wound you just created.
It’s a brilliant business model. And it’s poison. And what was once a powerful call to self-understanding has become a capitalist carousel of never-ending self-improvement.
How I Got Sucked In
I’ll be honest, I was part of this machine. I sold programmes. I used the language. I helped people dig into their pain. And for some, that was the beginning of self-understanding.
But over time, I saw something disturbing:

The same people kept coming back, needing “just one more” session for reassurance they had the diagnosis right or did they need something else.

Fewer relationships were repaired and more were destroyed. I was literally watching women isolate themselves and live in fear of not being able to recognize the dreaded narcissist.

People were spending years “healing” and almost no time actually living.
The truth hit me: I wasn’t helping them get free. I was helping them stay stuck.
Why I’m Walking Away
I refuse to feed the fear that makes people see narcissists everywhere.
I refuse to keep women in “healing purgatory” until they’ve paid enough, processed enough, or dug through their past until they are intimately familiar with their great-great-great-great grandmother's trauma enough.
I refuse to pretend the answer is always more inner work instead of more life.
So I’m quitting the complex. And I’m building something new.
What Comes Next
I’m creating a system that doesn’t keep you circling your pain — one that’s about:

Discernment, not diagnosis. Knowing the difference between harm and human imperfection.

Repair before rejection. Talking before cutting off.

Living as the cure. Building confidence and joy through action, not endless self-examination.

Community over isolation. Healing faster by living in healthy connection.
This is not about “never grow or self-reflect.” It’s about knowing your nervous system is reacting normally, people are human, flawed, beautiful and not every moodswing or slight is abuse. It's about knowing you do not have to be happy every minute of every day or vibe higher (whatever that means). Most importantly, it's about giving yourself permission to move forward, live, breathe, be human, emotional, and a unapologetic beautiful human mess!
The Anti-Fear Manifesto
- We refuse to see the world through the lens of pathology.
- We refuse to accept fear as the foundation of self-protection.
- We refuse to spend our lives in healing purgatory, waiting for the mythical day we’re “ready.”
- We choose curiosity over suspicion.
- We choose boundaries without justification.
- We choose to live now; imperfectly, unapologetically, and in full colour.
The future doesn’t need more self-diagnosed survivors. It needs more humans willing to be human again.
